Put transmission in gear, and set the parking brake.

take the cover off the flywheel by the oil pan and stick somethign in there to catch the teeth while you break the bolt loose.

LOTS of liquid wrench, a breaker bar and a long pipe.

Get 2 breaker bars and a Mac tool morosso also makes one, made for honda crank pullies. Other wise the screwdriver or something in the fly wheel or one of the holes in the crank pully. Its a rough job, good luck.

Yes, you have take the crank pulley bolt off. The crank pulley keeps you from being able to take the tan timing cover off.

first i tried with my standard 200 foot lb., after that failed...i used my buddies 730 foot lb. impact gun, didnt work. then he let me borrow his impact gun from work. 1200 foot lb. worked like a charm.

Yes you do....it takes time and alot of swearing but it does come off. If you know someone at a dealer try to get the tool that fits inside the pully to hold it in place, it makes it so much easier to get the bolt off( takes off at least 4-5 swear words)

I had mine on a engine stand Thankfully I think. Got the mac tools for the crank pully put the breaker bar on it, put another breaker bar on the nut, let the breaker bar for the crank pulley hit the bottom of the engine stand, put another bar over the breaker bar for the nut and it came of within 5 mins. I was alot easier then any other time I've done it. I really suggest that tool, its a miracle worker. Also you can put something in the holes but may end up ruining some tools thats what I did, used about 3 screwdrivers til I found one strong enough.
