bogart wheels....
you can run regular studs because the lugnut actually fits inside the wheel, not just rests on top of the wheel like a street rim would. You do need to get extended ones though for legality issues at the track.
regular lugs wont work since the studs wnt stick out that much on the rim. you do have to get the special lugs that will go into the rim itself. like Mike said, even though you can get it to work.. its still highly advisable to have the extended studs for legality and safety issue.

use bogart lugs for your bogart wheels.
Like he said, they aren't like regular lugs, they fit into the wheel.
Anyways, I use H&R Studs on my car.

the article says something about getting the hub machined.. will i have to get this done or will the studs fit into the hubs without modification?
I didn't machine my hubs, I just used my 1/2" impact and my lug stud installer to pull them through, had no problems.
btw, skunk2s suck ***, I had to grind one in half once just to get my wheel off because two of the bitches spun in the hub.

ok thanks for the info... i have one more question... (i know im being a pain..) will the stock lug nuts still work for the stock wheels or the aftermarket lugs for the aftermarket whees? (i.e. not bogarts, just regular road wheels)

I have never had any problem with skunk2 lug studs. I have owned three sets. I think the main problem with them is the lugnuts that Bogart sends you with your rims. It almost seems that they don't tap the threads all the way through on those lugnuts and when you put them on your extended studs, it messes the threads on the lugstuds up. I always run a tap through my lugstuds before ever installing them and shouldn't have any problems. It is also a good idea to spot weld them in with a tig welder so you don't get stuck with spinning studs.
yupp i have to agree with turbohonda, i have had 2 sets of z speed studs. they work fine for me. i have mine spot welded from behind. i always put anti seize on the threads so they dont get stuck and mess up the threads. alot of the time its not the manafacturers fault but actually the installer.. thats just my 2 cents.
