Default someone tried to jack my SI rims

someone tried to jack my SI rims and after taking out the lug nuts realized there were key locks on them and then decide to break into my car thru the window and ruin my window pillar and window lining in the process to find the key lock realizing that it wasnt there and then proceed to go and try to pop the hood...(hood release is broken) and couldnt get it open....AND THEN, tries to pry open the hood with some tools (screwdriver?) leaving dents on the hood......*******!

I am also wondering, do the lug nut locking nuts have a copy that they can buy from the store and use on my car?.....or is each nut different from one another? also, what is the best way to keep the car safe if it is parked on the STREETS? i have the autolock, any other suggestions? are the pager alarms good?

do these people sound like amateurs or someone who is willing to come back for it?......cuz if they do, i will be there with a bat to their head. And in the end, i will be watching when the blood gushes outta their head. 3 rules for guys: dont **** with a man's vehicle, dont **** with a man's girl, and never kick a guy in the ***** in a fight........them ******* will pay the next time i catch them. I live right there in plain view. So now i am watching every night.

The locks are not unique, but it may be difficult to find a matching one. At least you still have your car. When the SI first came out, in so cal lots of them were stolen for the rims and seats only

actually they don't even need the lug key...I know from experience. I found my Teg on a block and brick with only 3 studs left on each wheel and broken studs with the lug lock still on.?? Im still trying to figure out how they did that???

they probably took the other lugs nuts off then bent the wheel out till the last lug broke....

I had the same thing (kinda) happen to me... theives are so stupid

I was w/ my friends at a restaurant and the lot in front of the restaurant was full (small *** lot) so I parked on the street around the corner...

they took off 3 of the lugs only to find that I had wheel locks... they decided to be an *** and TOOK the lug nuts that they were able to take off so my friend and I were basically stranded... it was sunday and all the local shops were closed...

imagine how ghetto it would be to receive a call from one of your friends (I was calling my friends on my phone) "hey bro can I borrow some lug nuts from your other car? I really need them to get my car home" it was so ghetto having to BORROW lug nuts because the stores were closed... it was the hollow tuner lugs for my rims.. so I couldn't just get them from anyone.. had to find friends w/ rims

anyway sounds like you need an alarm w/ shock/impact, proximity and tilt sensors along w/ all entry point (doors, hood, trunk) switch protection and a pager so you can catch them in the act at least... they probably would have been discouraged
to break into your window and pry your hood if you had an alarm.. or at least they would have had to devise a way to de-activate your alarm before doing all that.. so they might look for an easier target (a car w/o an alarm) or have to spend more time trying to deactivate the alarm...

if they really want it their going to come back and get it especially the pros.. but having several layers of security (alarm, autolock, kill switches, club, hoodlock, batt back up, etc.. ) should scare away a lot of the amateurs...

they only took 2 of the lugs off the tires of each one and i swap around to equal them to drive to a store to get more. What kind of alarms are ones that list that. I want one with controlling windows too. THANKS!

My Clifford AvantGuard does that (all the stuff mentioned above) incl window and sunroof closure.. also has some nice convenience features like turning on the lights for you when its dark.. and leaving the lights on for XX seconds after you part to light your path as you park, exit and walk down the street or whatever...

I'm sure DEI has some alarm accessories that you can add features (like window and sunroof closure, additional sensors, etc) if you already have another alarm w/ some extra channels/outputs..
