Rims for 1997 Si have an OFFSET, will they fit on the car... ? Lugs wont go in...
I got free rims 16" very nice ones, and I want to put them on my 1997 Si but there seems to be a couple problems...
Seems the rims have an offset, not sure if that is the correct term but the little screw were you put the lug nut on, is extremely short when i put the rim on the car....Is there any way to get "bigger" screws.... ? Also, would i have to buy some kind of very skinny lug nuts to screw on, since the holes are way too small for my stock lug nuts?

Sounds like you need to run some extended lugs for these rims. Does the rim hit the hub completely?

plus, you need to run "tuner lugs" with these - they seat differently than stock lugs

If the screws are too small though and the lug nuts arent strong enoguh, can the rim fall off?

lol the screws you are talking about all the time, we probably called it lug nuts. However, the lug nuts that you are talking about, it's called lug?? You think they decid the lug nuts to kill people??

look at his location, he's canadian, therefore its a 97 EX for you guys, second of all, he does not speak for all canadians. trust me, we arent all clueless like this.
now:
are you sure that the wheel is correctly mating to the non-friction part of your rotor? or just hitting your calipers? (the thing that clamps the rotor to make you stop) because the offset may be too wild for your civic.
