Race Coming Up Need Quick Help
Hi guys I own a 1992 Honda prelude type s (the slow ones with only 135hp) f22a engine. I need advice for a race i have this friday. I am going up against my friends 240 sx i think its a 92 (about 155bhp) I need all the help i can get bc although this is just a friendly lil competition a race is a race. I need advice such as weight reduction, small upgrades, timing changes, anything please help quickly!
OCTANE BOOST! go to autozone and get the outlaw octane boost. running 93 octane and that you should be at about 104-105 octane. your car will act like its on cocaine.

Please be more specific like instructions on each helpful tip. And yes i will be praying trust me I need it with my lude. I have about 190$ to spend by friday any quick buys?
If you run at the track take out you exhuast system and run straight headers. I've seen some guys do that. I really don't suggest it just an idea. But might want to get nice k&n filter and straight pipe to replace your cat. And you know take out the seats. Hope that help.

Well, I left you a reply but somone deleted my post. Anyway, if you have the H22 (i assume you do) and he's stock as well, you should be able to beat him if you're a better driver. In this situation, I call drivers race. Don't underestimate the TypeS, it's by no means 'slow'. And given equal mods and driver, he will tax your *** like Uncle Sam
pop the trunk, take out the floor lining, put in garage, take out spare.....put in garage, take out carpet lining in trunk, put in garage, take out jack and tools put in garage, strip the trunk down to the sound deadening material.....now, go to a shermin williams and ask them for a gallon of toluene, octane booster does nothing, when it says it will raise octane level 2 points it goes from lets say 92 to 92.2, mixing toluene will create a true higher octane, don't fill your tank up too much, lets say about 1/3 tank, add the gallon of toluene, advance the timing a little bit........what all mods do you have also? that could help me out here.........and by the way, you have an s model prelude, not a type s, types's have 220ish horsepower and are found in the 5th gen lude's not a 4th gen, have fun with this guy cuz if it's a 5 spd 240, he should get you off the line
