HELP!!! skunk mani leaking radiator fluid!!!
a few months back i go me a skunk mani for my 99 b18b. when i finsihed installing it i put the radiator hose back on the little pipe coming out the IM. now on that little pipe the the radiator hose goes on there's another little pipe coming out of that. i guess its for the crv or something. so i put a rubber cap on and clamped it. problem solved. now about a month ago it started to leak, so i tightened the clamp and it stopped. now this past week it started up again so i keep on tightening it. i can't tighten it anymore and it still leaking
. i got a 94.3 mile round trip tommorow ( i've driven it too many times) downtown and i dont want to be on the expressway and blow up
. any ideas would help. thanks.

try going to like autozone or sum autoparts store . they sell like rubber caps tat you could put on there and the hose clamp it down . you might have ripped it or something . take a look at it , might have a hole or sumthin in it .
i put rubber cap on my and then a very tight Zip tie... its been holding up fine for 5K miles so far. Also one of the metal fittings on the manifold was leaking, not a lot.. but enough to cause worry.. rather than take it off and send back to skunk2, i used that "liquid weld" stuff.. (mix 2 chemicals.) And that 2 has held up..
i got my IM on in september and that's what i used, a thick *** rubber cap and screw clamp. it been almost 10k miles now and its giving in.
what that stuff? an apoxy?

I had this problem; I fixed it by using 2 rubber caps and a hose clamp from pep boys. Cover the inlet with a tight fitting rubber cap, then put a bigger rubber cap over that one so in since you’re using 2 rubber caps. Then tighten down with the hose clamp and you’re off. I did this and no problems, 15k miles later and it’s still holding fine. Good luck
edit. oops, just saw the date and didn't mean to bring up such on ald post, my bad

Get a hose that fits ofver the tube about 1-2 inches long. Put an appropriate sized bolt into said hose. Clamp both ends and you are done. I have been using this method for over 2 years now wihtout any problems.
