So I did the intake mod with only the cone on my accord, and took out the entire stock airbox. Problem is, the cone is right against the battery, and although I doubt it poses much of a problem, I just want to move the cone to where the air box used to be. Is there a special type of tubing I should buy, or can standard tubing from Home Depot work? I'm basically trying to find out the exact type of pipe I need to extend this. Thanks for the help!

Yes buy a Air intake tube, it will save you alot of grief. They are so cheap nowadays. About $60

AEM sells thier extenstions

but really i ll tell ya to just go to home depot and get thier mandrel pipe.. and get a rubber sleeve. that should do it
