anybody have annoying hatch noise in an EK? its like a rattle sound, and its definitally coming from the hatch. can i tighten something or glue something? it only does it on some roads but it's annoying none the less. i'll try tightening my spare and any other suggestions are welcome.

They just make more and more noise over time . It could be a number of plastic trim pieces, or even the fuel pump cover got loose.

 

its a 2000... could age still make it rattle?. BTW i just put some 2 sided tape under the plate and its on there pretty good, it still rattles a bit. any more suggestions?

try the license plate...that's where the rattling came from on my hatchie.

 

has the car every been hit from the back ? salvage title ? ever took out the plastics in the back ? those can be the problems, exhaust rattling your bumper ?
