Default LS\VTEC info

I have been searching for a while and haven't found to much in depth info on how to build up an LS\VTEC motor. I was wondering if anyone has any good info on this. Any info is greatly appreciated.

thats a shitty site. theres a lot you could know, and very little you have to know for an lsvtec. You'll need a braided oil line with bspt to npt adapter fitting, vtec oil pump, a tap system to plug the useless oil hole in the head, and either a mill to enlarge the dowel pin holes or buy a different set of head studs from a company that makes ones that fit automatically. The rest is the same as any other b series swaps......basically.

If you have any specific questions ask and I can answer them for you.

use head studs ....... ARP vtec studs

make sure the head your gonna use isnt cut severly, or else you stand a chance of piston to valve contact, you can use a dremel to open up the valve reliefs if youve got a steady hand.

Or do it the right way and buy VTEC pistons.
