Default I'm so mad

Ok i so just got my greddy evo exhaust(used) and tonight i was going to install it and change my oil. So i do the oil first and start working on taking off the oem exhaust. The three bolts that connect the cat and exhaust where so tight that i $hit myself trying to get them lose. Then the dam hangers where so stiff it took me half an hour just to get five fu@#ing hangers off. Ok so after 1 1/2 hours the stock exhaust is off. I line it up and i'm missing that 3in adapter for the base, which i don't have. So the exhaust is like 3in to short. All that work for $hit. So i guess i need to find or buy that 3in piece for a evo. Hey guys if you have one and you want to sell, please PM me. What crap friday night, Please help.

that blows dude. i know its a bit late but the next time you do this. spray the hangers with WD40 and let them sit for ten min. they will come off alot easier. also use a long screwdriver for leverage. only takes about 30-45 min that way for removal and install. cant help you on the missing pipe. talk to a muffler shop in your area and have one made. or make the dude you bought it from pay for a new one.

Hate to tell ya-but I don't think there is such a part from Greddy. You need to have a muffler shop weld a section of pipe on the existing front section with a flange. That is the best choice rather than trying to make something else work.
Then again-put the stock unit back on the car and return your USED one to the seller-it won't fit without $50 worth of mods and looks terrible with welded piping <G>.

He is right..The SH requires exhaust that does not fit on the base model.

For example, the Apex N1 comes in to different models. SH and base. The SH is a bit longer (which is that 3" you are talking about.)

You are going to need something custom fab'd

No i think that's wrong the sh is shorter and the base is longer, that's why i need the 3in adapter for my base model prelude. Some else confirm this please, there seems to be a lot of confusion on this. I still need the 3in adapter for a greddy evo if anybody has one !

base models do need the 3 inch adaptor. A friend has greddy SP and it had the 3 inch adaptor for his base prelude.

When I bought my EVO last year it came with the extension. I was sure to stress to the vendor my car was an SH.
