Default Quick question please help..

I have a '88' crx si and the check engine light is on. How do I turn it off or reset it?? The car runs fine I just can't have it on for emissions testing, they turned me down at the station..

Thanks in advance

Here:

before you reset it, check what the problem is.

To reset the ECU, simply unplug the battery and tap the brake lights a few times. Or you could pull out your hazard fuse.
