Default horsepower limits on drag3 kit

how much power have any of you guys made on the drag 3 kit. Mainly im concerned about the IC size and the exhaust manifold. Just looking for some feedback. I dont really want to switch manifolds and intercooler just yet.

i am running a drag 3 kit on a built b16. stock sleeves. hondata and 550's. My goal with this setup is 300 whp but im building a 84 mm sleeved motor this spring and would like 400-500 whp. will this be possible granted it will be tuned and have bigger injectors.

thanks guys
CHRIS

what trim size turbo did you get with your drag kit? how many pounds do you want to use to make the power?
i made around 300 to 310 to the wheels(est) with a stock b16b and a drg gen 3 kit and i had the t3/t04b w/ .57 ar, at 1 bar. i tuned my car with 370cc injectors, 255 walbro f/p, fmu, greddy a/f gauge and safc.
it is very possible but the b16 will limit you.

I've seen 350whp with the Drag kit. my engine is being rebuilt at this time so I'm expecting 300 to 350 as well. I guess it really depends on the turbo you have and the amount of fuel you can supply. If your wanting 400 to 500 you are definately gonna have to get bigger or more injectors.

actually i think 550's will do it. any thing eles on that b16 and you idle will be really dirty, you will never be able to run a good low throttle A/F, and you will be going through plugs weekly. the big motor, 550's and drag 3 kit with possibly a little bigger turbo(60 trim) and you could possibly see 400whp

sorry i should have written already i will be switching turbo's for the 84mm block. Probaly go with a 60-1 not sure t3 or t4.

ill be going to the dyno in about a month. hopefully i can make 300 plus on my setup now.

im not sure what size turbo i have now. And i dont know how to find out.
it a standard t3/t4 possibly a B that came with the drag kit for a 99 civic si. its got the blue backplate if that means anything.

ill be running around 14 psi on the b16.
the sleeved motor ill be hoping for around 20 psi, race gas of course

This is OT, but G2turbo do you have any pics of your intercooler piping....pics of the engine bay? If not could you take some?

I made 365 whp through a full exhaust on a 9:1 comp. stock size b18c witha stock b18c intake manifold... that was at 16 psi.. I know there is more power in that turbo at higher boost...

oh yeah, mine came with the 57 trim turbo

Thanks for the pics. Hey if you didn't have the filter sitting there could the battery stay there? Last question for you I think. Was there any problems getting the charge pipe from the turbo to the intercooler?

to run the charge pipes like i did you have to cut holes on both sides of the frame. but it was ok cause i got the brand new drag 3 kit w/thermal cat back and many extras for 2400. couldnt pass it up.

i dont like the way drag routes the ic piping for the 90-93 integra kit. so i went ahead and cut the holes.

and by the way it would still be pretty tight under the hood if you keep the battery. filter or not. cause the charge pipe would be very close. if you are going to turbo it id say move the battery to the trunk anyway and make yourself some more room under the hood.
