i've only heard good about koni yellows and GC's.......only thing w/ coilovers are that they tend to be more bouncy. I'd recommend lowering springs...maybe some h&r race and koni yellows?
Coilovers more bouncy? Whether you have a bouncy ride or not depends on spring rate and the compression of your struts/shocks. There's no way that a coilover suspension can be more bouncy than a traditional spring setup. The only difference is the threaded perch so that you can raise/lower the ride height. If you have a fairly stiff suspension (Skunk2 coilovers) and stick some pos struts on the car that are valved to handle that high of a rate, you will have a bouncy ride. As long as your struts can handle the spring rate, you shouldn't have a problem.
GC/Koni yellows would make a good set up. What exactly are your plans for the car? Daily driver/auto-x/track events? What's your budget, what car is it going on, etc? Also try searching, this has been covered many times.

If you want better handling but only have a few hundered to spend, I'd recommend that you save up some more money or get some struts. Since its an EG, if you're riding on the stock stuff now, they're probably worn out and that can make a big difference. They don't have to be fancy 93 way adjustable or anything, just get some basic performance shocks. You can also see if you can find some used stuff that someone is willing to let go really cheap. Whatever you do, if you really want better handling, you'll be better off with struts first rather than springs first.
Have an EG with GC's with a spring rate of 450 up front and 375 in the rear. My shocks are KYB AGX adjustable and I have a progress camber kit. Its damn near impossible to push this setup to hard, it just ask for more. The susp. all together ran about 800 installed and alligned. When you lower you car a camber kit is a must unless you want to buy new tires in about a month(I learned the hard way). So I would suggest saving some more money or just going with a lowering spring and camber kit.
I've got the H&R full coilovers. Only paid about $899 for them which was pretty decent. Ride quality is awesome, kinda firm in the rear, but bearable. The bad thing though is that for some reason, my left front and right tires wore down quickly compared to my passenger side tires. I'm not sure if its because the drivers side was lower than the other side, or what...but anyway..
I highly recommend these coilovers. THere is some maintenance involved with the threaded collar. I just stripped one of my collars, even though i lubed them up often...i'm not sure if i hit a hard bump or what caused this...
