"This kit allows you to relocate the factory oil filter for easy maintenance with a trick look. "

I'm guessing he wants the trick look

Assuming you can find a spot in the engine bay, oil changes will be much quicker (no need for ramps or jackstannds). You do not need to raise the car to get at the drain plug. Good idea if you want to use a larger filter also, but this looks like it uses the stock filter size.

Ha, no, but I'm just remembering when I changed my oil in my beater about 3 weeks ago in 25 degree weather. Cold sucks.

I don't know why the **** cars don't come from the factory with the oil filter and drain plugs in easy to get to locations. I mean ****, I change my oil more than I fill my washer fluid. My Jeep is just god damn ridiculous to change the oil, I cut the **** out of my hand every time I do it because of the completely assinine place the oil filter is at.

The drail plug has to be on the bottom of the pan. It IS in the best place it can be.

As for the filter, well, it could be in a better spot but it isn't that bad.

No way, Chris. It would be sooo much easier to get at if it were on top of the valve cover

Wait a sec... the filter relocation kit does nothing for draining the oil: you still have to drain under the oil pan. It DOES make changing the filter easier AND allows the use of a bigger filter (or even two filters) for the ultimate in filtering.

Amsoil makes an awesome looking set too, single and dual filters up to 15" long

You could get one of those cool oil drain plugs though that are like the nipple valve or whatever... you wouldn't even have to jack up the car then

I have the b&m oil cooler, which relocates the filter. Not too shabby for $100.

He means he wants his oil to come out the top the valve cover with some neat hose, instead of out the bottom.

They are bitching because they have to jack up their car to change their oil.

The one I have sitting at home in a box relocated the filter too...I've just been too damn lazy to install it, especially considering I want all SS lines.

Jackson Racing sells an all in one cooler/relocation kit....it's the cheapest combo setup I've found.
