Default Is a Benen cross member bar the same as a lower tie bar?

First off I know what a cross member is but does Benen sell a cross member brace or an upgraded cross member? Or is it the same as a lower tie bar?
the pic from Benen:

no, it is not the same. It is an "upgraded cross member."

it mounts in you engine bay, directly in front of the steering column... get that bar and a front lower tie bar, and afront strut bar... your steering response will be 100%better

i have a power steering rack and it was a really close fit, like 1mm... and i had to disconnect the mounting bracket for a p.s. hardline that uses the same hole in the chasis that the crossmember bar does. but im not having any problems w/ it after it was installed. its a pain in the *** to manuever the bar into where it is susposed to be mounted but i had the cusco front lower bar on already so that made it alittle tougher. just give yourself an hour, it'll definately fit, it just takes some patience b/c theres alot of **** in that area of the car.

this bar is serves the same purpose as the bar that comes on the 94-01 integra. save some cash and be practical and buy one off an integra and save some cash...and for those that dont mind spending a little more than others, go for it.

can the stock 94-01 integra cross member fit 92-95 hatch with a b series motor and stock motor?cuz it looks like the bar will hit the shift link age.

the strong bar is a replacement for the rear bumper support when drag racers take it off...

No, that is not the cross member. That is the strong bar....the cross member goes underneath the car. I just wanted to know if the Si has one stock and if this is a replacement bar. Now I know that it can be used in conjuction with front lower tie bar. I think I may look into the integra bar though. May be difficult to get a hold of one in good shape though. The dealer would for sure charge a lot of money, and the scrap yards might not have anything in decent shape and I doubt anybody would be selling one off their car but anything is possible.

eg6si: Are the integra bars beefie bars? Is one from an ITR better/thicker/stronger than one from a gs or gsr? or are they all the same?

TeamUntouchableRacing: check this out....don't know if you have one of these already but you seem to be "bar" crazy like me. Its called a C-pillar bar from J's racing.
here is a pic of it installed on an integra:
