Default Dynoed my Si

Hey H-T. I got a free dyno when I got my clutch a while back. So I figured I'd redeem it today. I searched and already had a good idea what my numbers would be. But I figured what the hell, I'll make sure things are running ok.

My current engine mods:
AEM CAI
DC 4-2-1
Thermal Exhaust
(nothing great I know but funds are limited seeing as im 18)

A few pics:

Just incase you can't see the sheet my best was 146.7hp/101.1 lbs/tq

I hope to get the following by May:
Skunk2 intake manifold
AEM adjustable cam gears
CTR Intake cam
VAFC (with tuning)

Please give me any suggestions/comments that aren't pointless and un-helpful regarding my future plans and or current mods and numbers on the dyno. As everyone on this board I'm still learning and would like some feed-back.

Some may not like my car but it is mine and I'm proud of it seeing that I got a great deal on it and payed for all my mods and did most of the work myself.

Thanks in advance

-Ian

Those are really good numbers for a B16A with your mods.

If I were you I would convert to OBD-I and run a chipped ECU. A new ECu really makes the motor come alive. But if you get emissions tests then just play with the VAFC.

You should be making close to 170 once you get the R cam and some more dyno time.

thanks for the repsonses/suggestions.

i was planning on only getting the ctr intake cam. i didnt think it was necessary to get the exhaust cam. plus after that and cam gears my vtec crossover would need adjusting, so i would have to tune it last with the vafc.

With only I/H/E those look like really good numbers. Sounds like you got a strong b16. I'd like to see if running a DC or OEM JDM 4-1 header with high flow cat would give you a little more power..

Looks good for a basically stock B16. If I were you my next step would be to work on the head a bit...and save up for B20 block and do B20VTEC. B16's are nice, but just lack the torque and that's where the fun is...torque. My previous JDM B16A was pretty nice and I can definately say that if you plan to get the Skunk2 manifold its a VERY worthwhile mod. You can definately feel the difference with that manifold once you are in VTEC. Also, my DC Sports 4-1 headers were a nice touch

Thats really good numbers with what you got. Get new cams and you will be set. And if you can chip your car that would be nice
