Well.. 2 days after Christmas.. and 4 days after i got my brand new wheels from shawn...( friday december 27) i came to a red light at the end of my moms subdivision in nashville.. i waited for the light to turn green to make my right hand turn towards my destination... my light turned green and i looked.. and proceeded to go.. and then i see this truck out of the corner of my eye and i see him hit my front driver side wheel and fender panel and everything else up there and then my car gets knocked so hard over a curb popping front left tire and my car slams down ontop of it by the time i looked down.. my car had been ideling at 3100rpm and holding steady.... and i look up to see this guys truck spin around.. hit the curb and flip 4 times and sadly land ontop of a fence... i was screamin. i thought it was all my fault.. but this guy had been in the fast lane.. and the car in front of him slowed down to stop for the red light while this guy in his red mazda b2200 swerved around him to run the red light.. so i was in the clear.. i do have a picture of my car.. but i do not have access to a digital camera or a scanner. but it did some damage to the front.. screwed up one of the wheels majorly my headlight was gone.. fenderpanel gone, hood all messed up, and bumper support was bent forward with the bumper laying on the ground.. and the funny thing was.. my honda emblem on the front layed on the ground the exact spot that i was hit. he hit me doing like 50 and im also gonna get pain and suffering so im gonna have all kinds of money rollin in for my new car! so nevertheless they totaled my car.. and are giving me a check for 8267.90. i was surprised at the amount... considering it was a 96 ex with 90000 miles on it..but im planning on a silver 99 civic hatch... im open to suggestions...oh and here is some advise.. keep all your reciepts from everything you put on your car.. they will come in handy when you wreck! forever!

 

Sorry to hear about that man. Wrecking a car can definitely put a damper on someone's day. Hope everything works out for the better.

 

didn't you hav e an H22 swap as well??? If so, I'm assuming that the swap is still good. Good thing you're ok, and I would sue the guy and get some extra money.

 

No she doesnt have a H22 swap thats me. Im Shawn the one that bought her the wheels. Sucks that the perfect si wheels where torn to bits. Oh well she got a nice chunk of cash for them, and wasnt hurt in the wreck so thats all that matters. Good luck with the new car woman. Im sure ill be helping you out with it or whatever. Make that **** mad jdm-yo worthy.

 

Wow... that sucks. At least your ok. cars can be replaced, people can't. Good luck on the car hunting, it can be frustrating (i have been looking for the past couple of months).
