Default Corner lenses blinking at the same time

Oh, wow that was a poorly worded title.

When I turn on my left or right turn signal both bulbs blink at the same time. What would cause this?

can you be more specific... do you mean both bulbs in the corner light flash at the same time, or do you mean both turn signals on both sides of the car flash at the same time?

Yes, the bulbs in only ONE corner light flash at the same time.

Yeah, only occasionally mine will blink together. I like it that way. I think it's sort of annoying the way they blink alternately.

Well on my teg.. if its daylight without turnning on the lights, they both blink at the same time. At night, however if the lights are turned on, they will flash consecutively.

ah I see, yes the way the 94-97 bumper lights are wired makes them both flash as turn signal if the parking lights are NOT on, but they flash alternately if the parking lights ARE on. It's wired basically the same way as you would wire up sidemarkers on the fenders to function as both running lights and turn signals. Since I have sidemarkers that are ONLY turn signals, the alternately flashing bumper lights looked even more dumb, so I rewired them so that they function the same as 98-01 bumper lights. When using the turn signal, the front 1157 bulb is the only one that flashes, no matter what. The small 194 wedge bulb is used for parking lights only and never flashes. The 194 bulbs in my sidemarkers obviously flash as turn signals.
