tranny prob.?????
ok i am the one with the R that wont start after the tranny install,my buddy if typeRicer hater, just so there is no questions.
ok we tightned the starter and then we tried to turned the crankshaft pully but everytime we turned it, it went right back to it's orginal position. what do you guys think the prob is now?

If you want to rotate the crank to a certain point just pull the plugs and there will be no compression, so it wont go back.

As mention above, you can remove the spark plugs to help you rotate the crank pulley. Then try the starter again to see if it will engagen the flywheel.
As a last resort, you could "compression start" the car (by pushing the car and droping the clucth in first gear with the ignition on) and see if at least the clutch is working properly (all gears engages smoothly). Then go back home and try the starter again.
