mix and matching cams...gonna work??
So I got 62404 cams in my engine and were having problems getting it to idle (whole engine just installed). It runs fine above 800 RPM's but then dies if it goes lower. So I was thinking I could keep the 62404 Intake cam and put the OEM Exhaust cam back in, that way it still is sucking in the air, but the duration and vacuum is better for low end and since the spent mixture will have less volume than when it first comes in the smaller Exhaust cam should choke it up as much as OEM intake and 62404 exhaust.
I realize I wont see the benefit of a true 62404 setup, but it should be better than stock no doubt.
