removing speed govenor on ek civic
me and my friend where in canada for the a&j racing meet, and on the way home i noticed there where no cops so i decided to gun it. i got to fith gear and then hit 120mph, but once i hit 120 my car acted like i needed to shift and then droped its speed to 115. im sure its the speed govenor thats **** blocking so i need some help. i need to know where the speed govenor is on my 96 civic ex, and i also need to know how to remove. thanks

It's in your ECU you need it rechipped.....BTW, your OBDII and rechipping those is very expensive.
It's cheaper to convert to OBDI and get a OBDI chipped ECU.
BTW, why the hell do you need to go faster than 120?
