Does any one know how to get rid of the speed limited or revlimiter on a 98 Civic EX Coupe??? I hate racing people on the high way, doing 120 in 4th, and then my car dies. I need to get rid of the speed limiter. Please Help!!!!!

You should be able to disable the speed limiter by disconnecting the speed sensor.

disconnecting the speed sensor = no vtec + CEL code......

get yourself a chiped obdI ecu, which makes more power and you are able to change vtec and rev limit....

for this obdII to obdI harness is needed...

as far as the ecu i have some for sale so let me know...

Well for one thing, if your 98 EX Coupe is stock (or close to it), then 120mph is just about as fast as you're gonna be able to get it, limited or not. Up at that speed, there just isn't enough power to overcome the wind resistance. Also make sure if you are travelling at that speed that your tires are rated to handle it.
