KYB agx questions
sorry if this has been covered, but i searched and couldnt find anything.
I was wondering how well agx's hold up with a drop of about 2-2.25". I really need some new struts, and i need to know how well they can take a just over 2" drop.

I lowered my civic about 3" with these shocks they work fine, mine are adjustable i dont know if yours are or if they make agx non adjustable. Anyway no problems here.

anyone with AGX and mad drop have problems with bad camber(tire wear)? can alignment alone cure bad camber or do i need to get a camber kit? i am shooting for 1.5 to 2 inches tops...im rolling on 15's.

I'd still get an allignment so your Toe is correct. You'll have toe out when you lower the car, and that will wear your tires quicker.
I owned AGXs on my old 1992 Si hatch and I loved them.
They rode great, handled the drop nicely, and I suto-x'd on them and loved them there too.
Can't beat the value IMO unless you spring for Koni Yellows, but the price difference a a big one.

BTW:
My fiancee' has the non-adjustable KYB GR2 struts and those have held up well for weill over 2 years of nearly tucking 195-50-15s on her 1992 Si hybrid hatch. She has the Skunk 2 coil-overs too.

I have some AGX's on my 98 civic.. and they work great.. only thing is i wish i didn't cheap out when i bought my coil overs because the spring rate is to soft for me.. but no complaints and you can feel the difference when you adjust it since its 4way in the front and 8 in the rear.. as for my drop.. i don't really know how low i'm at.. I always play around with it... but its down to where there is no wheel gap what so ever.. but i recently put in my rear camber kit and my rear tires rub after i fixed the camber.. thats why i wish i have a stiffer spring. i plan on raising it to where there is about a 1/4-1/2 wheel gap all around even though it breaks my heart.. rasing any car is against the law haha
No problems with my car. I'm on Neuspeed race springs.

I just put some KYB AGX on my 92 hatch with Eiback springs and its lowered about 2.75" in the front and they work fine
Very good for the money

i just put mine on yesterday.. but i have the skunk2's almost the way up.. KYB doesnt recommend going any farther down than 1.25 from stock height.. they will void the warrant if done...
