im a integra guy so i dont know much about preludes. but how come i never hear about the 4ws preludes? i remember hearing about them a few times in the past but didnt pay much attention to it. but then i saw a lude that had 4ws emblem on it and it made me remember. can someone please tell me some more info on these im very intrigued

 

4ws = 4 wheel steering

 

They stopping making them in 93 I think cause they were problem prone.

 

and the 4WS only really helped in parking the car..

 

And 4ws wasn't on the VTEC model...

 

Not true. It reduces body roll dramatically.

Other facts. 3rd gen 4WS was mechanical (I believe) 4th gen is electronic. Wheels turn opposite front wheels until 17mph then they turn the same direction as the front.

 

has anyone ever ridden in a car that had it? or even seen one? must be pretty crazy looking

 

5th gens were available with 4ws in UK as well
