4 wheel steering
mine came with it. it's a 1992 4ws.. electronically controlled.. i think they made the 4ws version from 92-94? and before that the 3rd gen i think it's a model also (i.e S, SI, SI 4WS) but they are hydraulic controlled?? not sure though on the 3rd gens
3rd gen ludes came with mechanical 4ws. (not sure other than aussie ludes had it)
4th gen ludes came with electronic 4ws. ( Jap, euro and aussie ludes)

Huh never knew they did it on the 5th gens. I love my 4WS. Parking is soooooo easy. Well not parallel.

how was it? whats the fastest corner you hit with that sucker with no tire screatching if there is any. just curious i always wanted to ride in one. i always see old women havein' it and they probably don't even care if it is 4WS. that sucks man
I don't know exactly how a non 4WS lude handles since I have never driven one. Well Except 3rd gen. It's hard to say how fast you can take corners because how would you know what corner I am talking about. As with any car it's all in the tires. On the highway it is great because you can change lanes really fast since the car doesn't have to turn at as much of an angle if you get what I mean.
I have heard that it isn't good for AutoX because the rear is unpredictable because it doesn't have a perfect response time.
I have had my 4WS shut off on my and almost hit things taking corners since I wasn't used to that large of a turning radius.
