Default Headlight Adjustment Question

1989 Integra LS

This car just doesn't light up the road in front of me so well - and one looks further out that the other.

1) How do I adjust both headlights to get proper alignment?

2) Is there anyway to increase the lumens??

Thanks in advance.

1.) In the 94-01 Integras there's screws in the headlight that allow you to adjust the horizontal and vertical beam pattern of the lights. Double check your own.

2.) The only way to increase lumens would be to either buy some higher wattage bulbs like Piaa's or something. You could also invest in H.I.D. but that's $$.

Hello?
No one wants to answer you because it's obvious that you didn't do a search. This same question is asked at least once a week. Things start to sound like a broken record.

You are right. I didn't do a search first. The time I will do just that. That you very much for the links.

The best information that I found, although I am not so sure if I understand, is the correct light pattern that should form on a wall in front of the car. I didn't notice this in my Haynes manual, but I will look again.

the Integra owners' manual shows the proper headlight adjustment. You can also do a 9005 conversion for the low beam projectors to get a 70% increase in lumens with only a 9-watt increase in current draw.

or you can take it to a place that does headlight alignments with the headlight tool. it's 15 bucks, but your headlights will be perfect. especially when changing the hieght of your vehicle. but that's just what I would do.
