Im installing my DC and everything went fine until i went to bolt the cat to the header. it seems to be crooked, i cant get it to line up. hopefully this is easily solved. thanks in advance!

He means your going to have to have the flange rewelded on or get a high flow cat put in it's place.

he means when you have to take it to a muffler shop so they can cut and rotate the pipe so the cat lines up with your header.

Shouldn't be more than 20 bucks if it's just welding. Might cost more if they try to sell you another flange or something.

u basically got the wrong header... either wrong model or wrong year.. post what car/motor/header u have.

 

That's weird. I've done two DC and a Greddy header installs and never had a fitment problem whatsoever...

 

just get a performance cat. its not too expensive ( 100-300 ). might as well put one on while ur workin w/ exhaust.

 

funny.... that doesnt look like a DC flang or header. have u tried changing the position of the cat? like rotate it among the 3 bolts.

i got it fixed i suppose. i took it to a muffler shop and the cut and re-welded it. i think i got the wrong model or something. the guy i bought from told me it was for a 99 si.... which i have, its funny everything else fit fine. i guess im ok now. seems to be working well.
