what the best thing to do?
on my ek hatch, i dont a have a cat and i need 2new 02sensors. i just brought a hi flow cat with no flanges. i know i can have the muffler shop weld in a 02 bung and install the cat. but will will happen when i get a new DC or ebay header this summer? what would be the best thing to do?

The DC header will only have one 02 bung anyways, so the one in the cat will stay where it's at, and the one currently in the exhaust manifold will get moved to the new one.

i now the header the header will have a bung alreadly, my concern is the header mite be too big for the cat. the runners mite be to long or to short?

Well, if you have a cat welded in right after the header now, then when you buy a new header it should be the same length as the stock header. Headers are direct bolt in items, there should be no need for shortening or lengthening the rest of the exhaust pipe to match the header.

Since you have a hatch, I assume you have a d16y7 with your cat in your exhaust manifold right?
If so you'll have to get an aftermarket header such as dc sports, have the muffler shop weld the flanges on your new cat to bolt it up, then cut your b-pipe to make it fit. Don't forget to lengthen your secondary o2 sensor too.
