Battery selection, least expensive alternative?
I did a search and most results I see are suggesting lightweight batteries or relocating it, or checking make sure the battery isn't the problem.
I am sure I need a new battery.
My battery just went dead (finally) today. I went to kragen and that POS store don't even carry a battery that will fit my 98 GSR.
Any other place who will have them in stock and cheap? SEARS battery are $100, so I am looking to spend a bit less.
TIA

Go to Costco!
They have batteries for almost every car. When I priced one for my Integra, it was $45.97

yea Costco has them for Integras... make sure you get 51R, not 51... I bought one a few months ago and I got the 51, and had to take it back to get the 51R. My friend that used to work at Sears says that Sears, Walmart, and Costco all carry the same batteries (Johnsons Controls) so he said to just get it at Costco.

This is correct. If you go to http://uuhome.de/william.darden/batbrand.htm you can find out what manufacture makes which battery.

At the risk of sounding stupid, very stupid, I will ask anyway.
The Integra is a Negative ground right?
Meaning, removing the old battery, I unhook the negative cable first.
and when I put on the new battery, I will hook the positive first.
TIA again.

I bought an OEM one from dealer and the guy told me it is made by Interstate. The one I pulled off my 99 is a Panasonic. I guess as long as the spec match, it doesn't matter what brand.
