What battery to get? mine is on its last leg
Well my battery is getting ready to die. I had problems starting the car this morning. I haven’t had any other problems until now. The little light came on. Then tried again and it started right up. My dad and I tested the battery with one of those little eyedropper battery testers after I cleaned up my corroded terminal and added water to the little holes in the battery.
My question is what is the best battery to get? I don’t want anything crazy or expensive. Just something that will last me a while and get me around town. Also what you guys think I shouldn’t get.
Thanks.

I'd recommend EXIDE. I've had bad experiences with DIEHARD. Just pick something cheap up at Sears

I dont know, i might be wrong on this, but to me, a battery is a battery is a battery.
Just get a cheap one from wal-mart, I dont think that it makes too much of a difference. you might want to get a second opinon though. I could be wrong.

How much do Honda batteries cost?
Original replaced after 5 years.
Current DieHard has been in for 5 years now. No problems with either. Original was replaced because having a battery go bad where I worked was NOT an option. Seemed like cheap insurance at the time, but probably was a waste. For all I know, the OEM battery would still be working.

optima batteries do fit under the hood it is just kinda tight and you won't have a battery strap but it isn't gonna move.

You can get a battery from Autozone from 39.99 up... we sell autozone brand for 39.99, Duralast for 49.99 with a two year free replacement and a 7 year prorated warranty... Duralast Gold for 59.99 with three year replacement and a 8 year prorated... We also carry Bosch and Optima... I dunno if there are cheaper than that, or what... I know Advanced is about the same price as us, and have similar warranty, so you could hit them up as well... Oh and the only difference between the batteries I listed as far as the obvious price and warranty diff. is cranking amps... Hope that helps, but I agree... just pick one up... I personally have an Everstart i think its from Sears or something...
