An AEM is out for the EP3. No idea what version it is though. I personally don't see the V2 being any better than the V1.

Yes, there are plenty of people that have the AEM for the EP3 including myself. Not the V2 though...

the wide chamber collects the cold air...while chamber that gets narrowed down forces the cold air to the intake manifold....i think...

By any chance, can you point us to any dyno results with this intake?

I keep hearing that there's a perceivable reduction in the excellent low-end torque of the K20A3 when using intakes.
No, those aren't me instructions sorry. Those were written by someone on http://www.ephatch.com

I spent a few minutes browsing the EP site, but couldn't find a relevant dyno plot.

Anybody who knows for sure...I'm sure more than a few of us here would really like to know.
i know i would b/c right after i get the EP3 the first thing i want to get is a CAI....and if im gonna lose torque for 1 hp i dont think its worth it...b/c i test drove a EP3 yesterday and it was incrediable...

Everyone remember that the EP3 doesn't respond to a CAI until an exhaust and header are installed. When the three are done in combination, you get excellent gains, throughout the RPM range. No torque loss at all.

so what your saying is that...an AEM CAI is usless without headers and exhaust?

The first thing I got for my car was an aem cold air intake. I didn't have a header or exhaust and I experienced noticable power gains. The car was a lot better with just an intake. If I were you I would get the COLD AIR INTAKE, not the short ram or anything else. In my honest opinion right now, that is the best product you can buy for that car, for the money.
