Please help tons of water in spare tire well
Hey everyone as the topic says I have a major problem I was bailing water with a cup on friday. I heard a sloshing sound the night before so I thought I would check it out. I look for clogged drain holes etc.... I have no idea. I felt the under the truck liner on the drivers side and it felt damp. The seal on the hatch looks good. TIA
drill a bunch of holes in the tire well.
That's what I did. Of course my car is really stripped and I don't care about adding more holes (weight reduction... lol).

My teg had this prob... turns out it was a taillight gasket you can get them at a dealership, thats where i got mine for like 27 bucks.... kinda a rip off for a little rubbery thing but it did the trick! It's really easy to do but if thats not it you can check out G2IC.com my teg is a gen 3 but i still find this site useful! heres some links:

I make integra g3 gaskets for the taillights
Better material, about %20 percent thicker, and stiffer, less porous (sp?) then the stock ones, $10 each
IM for details.

The same thing happened to me, everytime it would rain I would have water in my wheel well. I ended up taking out the side panel on the driver side and taking out the back seats to find the leak. It turned out the water was coming in through the antenna. The black seal around the antenna went bad. All I did was get some silicone and put it around where is was leaking, problem fixed.
When my Civic was brand new, my spare tire would always be wet after it rained, so I brought it to the dealer for them to fix and it was covered under warranty. Don't really remember where the problem was, but the repair involved something with removing the rear window so the leak was probably somewhere there.
