I just bought today a 3.5", 90 degree mandril bent, regular old steel piping from a local muffler shop and it cost $32. The good news is it is big enough to be my whole downpipe.

Hey turbotypeR,
This site looks nearly identical to Burns although the pricing is slightly different. I'm having a tough time finding anything, too.

This place seems to have 16 gauge 6061 Aluminum tubing (straight and 90s - don't see any U-bends here) in 2, 2.5, and 3" diameters, but not in 2.75". I don't see any prices listed either, but you could call or email them. Good luck!

mmmmmm ALUMINUM I/C piping: LIGHT WEIGHT
I got my 2.5" aluminum U-bends from burns stainless for $42.11 ea. 3 times more expensive than steel, but easily that much lighter too!!!
BTW, why 2.75" that **** is HUGE!

get a 3" pvc pipe and wrap alum foil around it a bunch. that would work.
