Default vafc or safc...pls help me decide

what are the differences between the two? i only know that vafc can adjust vtec switchover point while safc can't. what else?

i'm asking bcoz i'm going to do the "hack" instead of emanage(don't have budget). i know both of them can do the "hack" but which one is better to buy? and why? i want to get my money's worth.

it's for a 99 SiR at 9psi.

any help will be appreciated.

If you have VTEC get the VAFC...if you don't then get the SAFC.

If your really budget minded, you can also check out the SMC.

yes i have vtec but i dont mind if i'll be able to adjust vtec or not. i just want to know the difference between the two and which one is better for the hack, coz i heard that there's a slight difference between the two aside from changing vtec crossover on the vafc.

i heard alot of good things about smc but shipping it outside the US will cost an arm and a leg that's why i decided to drop the idea of getting emanage and instead opt to go the "hack" way. so i like to know which one i should buy, vafc or safc.

just get the v-afc, they are about the same price. The only difference (i think) in tha the v-afc comtrols v-tec and the s-afc doesn't.
