94 redline
so i have a 94 SI that got a h22a and manuel tranny swapped in by the previous owner. I used to have 95 SI stock. Now my question is does the h22 have a different redline than the h23? Should i like put wire tape on my gauge to make my redline at like 70000 hahaha
I like the illuminated cluster of my 95 Si, as compared to a VTEC gauge. It blacks out once you turn it off...so it looks pretty clean.
Although its funny seeing the reaction on people's faces when they ride with me...."HOLY CRAP! YOU MAXED OUT YOUR TACH!" (referring to my Si tach with 6500 redline, which ends @ 8k) Then I pop the hood and show them the H22.
*actually, 8k on my Si tach = ~7400 rpms* My AFC told me so...

Reline is at 7400 but the rev limiter is at 7800. The extra 400 rpms is fun and benefical. When crankning thorugh the gears the extra 400 help stay in the VTEC as you up shift. VTEC starts at 4800.
