Default B series transmission internals interchangeable?

Are the internals from B series cable trannies interchangeable? More specifically 92-93 cable transmissions and 92+ hydros. Do they only differ in the hydro/cable actuation?

Thanks
Ben

They are internally much different. Honda changed the way the bearings and shafts are layed out among some other things. I know because I tried swapping '94 LS transmission internals into a '91 LS transmission housing and it really did not work.

90-91 are totally different, but 92-00 are the same...

Ok...why do Quaife and Kaaz have different LSD part #'s for the '94+ Integra vs. the 92+ B16/B17 trannies?

Thanks

All LS and B16's use the same diff. Type R and GSR use the same diff. The difference between the two is the inner diameter of the ring gear.

Radio shack, thank you very much.....
You just saved me bunch of cash because now I can switch in a new gear set to my 92-93 LS case and get a cable/hydro adapter without having to buy a whole hydro tranny.

Thanks again
