Pulling out H22A1
do you know what usually causes the gears to be off set? about 2 years ago, my friend had a 1996 Prelude vtec and he changed his clutch. This caused 1st to be where 3rd is and 4th to be where 5th is....any clues? Thanks!
just put the shifter into reverse when you reinstall the engine/tranny. it'll be the gear that "clicks" when you shift into it. i believe it's the farthest forward gear on the right side of the transmission.
The only reason that your supposed to put the tranny in reverse when removing it is because it brings the shift linkage away from the body to make it easier to take the tranny out.
he put the cables on wrong probably...
