TypeR to S2000..Any of you have this experience?
Any input on going from a TypeR integra to an S2000? Anyone here go through this experience? Do you regret it or are you lovin it? Just want some input.
I've made this exact transition. The Type R is even more rare to see on the road, and the driving experience is also more raw. And by that I mean you hear the engine noise much more, you hear more road noise, etc. But both cars are very involving when driven at or near the limit. Each car requires that the driver focuses and concentrates on every aspect of their driving when moving along in a "spirited" manner.
The S2000 is a convertible obviously, and the styling is drop dead gorgeous. (I know the last statement I made is opinionated...) Having a convertible can be a lot of fun and was a big plus for me. The S2000 is also RWD, which in my opinion, is the true sports car driveline configuration. S2000 is also a little more comfortable (I'm only 5'4", fits me perfectly) and a little more refined. This car is also very expensive to mod.
That's all I can think of for now.

ive driven both quite a lot on the street (currently been driving an s2000 for the past two weeks.....drove a type r for a couple weekend awhile back for a friend who lost his license), i think the s2000 is more fun, however extremely noisey w/ that drop top. RWD owns too
but please guys, no pissing match...

I think there is a lot to be said about a FWD car with ~60/30 weight distribution to even come close to a RWD with 50/50. Although I have had both cars, by no means I can comment on which car ultimately handles better from personal experience. I will say however that if the ITR with its hp handicap keeps up with the S2K in a road course and it does, then I think it's the ITR that 'owns.'
Let's also not forget that ITR is 6 years older than S2K

I raced a slightly modded Type-R and lost by a foot or two. The cars are kick azz. But I love my convertible and wouldn't trade it for the world.
