Default Turbo Positioning

I've noticed that there are two ways you guys are mounting your turbos. The most common way is with the outlet on the pass side like my Greddy. I also have seen a few with the compressor on the driver side.

My question is: Is there a benefit running the compressor on the driver side? Or is that just the way that specific turbo mounts?
Just curious.

The reason why most compressors are mounted on the pass. side..is so you can maintain your A/C and power steering. The only reaon i have mine on the pass side is because my down pipe was made for it to sit like that.

If I had to do it again...i'd switch it around.
