How do I start my Honda with my Carburator flooded ??
I fucked up my car. I adjusted the fuel levels on the side of the carburator wrong and it looks like the carburator is flooded now. I tried adjusting the fuel levels back down on the side of the carburator but the fuel isn't moving below the indication line. I'm trying to start the car now and it wont turn over.. My gas light is also on, but the car started perfectly earlier (before adjusting anything). Any suggestions? Do you think if I push the car and pop the clutch I could get it to turn over? I adjusted the auxilirary and primary/secondary fuel levels on the side of the carburator back to normal ... ??

this is an old accord right? Pull the plugs and crank it over, then pinch the fuel supply line with a set of vice grips (cover the teeth with a cloth so they dont cut the rubber hose) and try starting it.
Sorry, im not too familiar with carburated hondas, this procedure worked on the old twin port injection civics though....

Check your oil level too ! If you flooded it too bad your crankcase may be full of gas. If it is, drain it and fill it with fresh oil before you try to start it or you risk damaging your motor. Believe me it CAN happen, been there and done it.
