I need to get my ecu either re-programed or a new chip but i need to know where to look for one or where would be a good place to look....for performance and price...well thanks a lot...

 

Check out Hondata or Jet. I'd probably go with Hondata though. also check around on the net, there are some other people out there, but you'll just have to search. also check Ebay.

 

With obd 2 your options are going to be pretty limited. Hondata doesnt make anything that will work. Only standalone for OBD 2 that I know of right now is the AEM. Why exactly do you want a standalone? You usuallly only get the full use out of one on a heavily moddifed motor. Good luck

I think hondata makes one for the 97 Accord but you also need the OBD1 adapter.

If you are not very good with electrical systems I would suggest a GOOD aftermarket import shop. Learn as much as you can from their install. You will get an education and probably save time and money.
