Default Code/flash 48 [help]

hoping i can make some sence of this & get to the bottom of it thanks to you guys.
ok, well my ZC/D16a8 flashed the engine check light in my 90'Si crx last night, i pulled over & the idle was not correct (was very jumpie) i tried to let her cool down for a while then fired her up and she got thrown straight into 'Limp mode' therefor not giving me any power past 3,500rpm i then checked my ecu and it gave me code/flash 4-8, i checked up code 48 & it seems to be "LEAN AIR/FUEL SENSOR".... my fuel regulator was set @ 32psi & i tried raising it slightly to feed it a little more fuel - no success, still throwing the code.... im hoping this is something obvious/easy to fix coz my mechanic is closed till early in the new year help me please, much appreciated..
regards Damien

The only thing that i can think of is that it might be a glitch in the ECU. You can reset it by unplugging you battery for an hour or so then it will reset your ECU. It might just be that simple. If the problem still persists you should go to your local shop and see what is up.

Code 48 is for a LAF sensor. Your Si doesn't have one. Are you sure it's not two seperate codes? 4 + 8 would both be distributor sensor codes and are often seen together.

An hour? It only takes about ten seconds.
