Keep R or move on my own??
Well here is the dilema. Right now i have a 01 PY Type R. I just turned 22 and i am still living with my grandparents mainly cause the car. If i didnt have a car payment i could live nicely on my own but if i keep it i will be stuck here for 3 more years. Now i love my car dont get me wrong but i also like my privacy. My plan was to a cash car for daily driving and a eg hatch for my toy. Now the only problem with that is an eg doesnt handle like the R. So i ask u what would u do and what what Honda could one day handle like the R. I am open to suggestions and thanx for your help.
Keep the R. You will for sure move out on your own some day. Enjoy living cheep, pay off the R, and then move out.
I kind of fiqured those were the responses i was going to get. Stay true to the R.
The only complaint i have about living here is that i have to share a room with my brothers....2.

whats your payment like, i dont see how it can be so bad unless you didnt put much down mine is 272 a month who hoo. Also if you want you could always re-finance your car payment that would help you pay it off with a little less interest and not move out right now but maybe in 2 years instead of 3 well thats my 2 cents hope i helped if not i atleast bumped the post

And how much do you pay a month? Even with my insurance my total payment on my car yearly is only 4400 bucks!!! And it costs about 1300 around me just for a place unfurnished, no utilities for a rather crappy place

Honda-Tech ownzzzzzzzz
im gonna say dont sell it once again because once paid for you could have a nice reliable car and have your own spot as opposed to having a bad *** hatch and your own place, dont get me wrong i would love to have a nice hatch but you will always loose on the selling end with dumping that kind of cash into a civic anyways good luck with what ever your decision may be even if you sell the ITR keep comin back to honda tech
I admire U for wanting to make a big step & move out on your
own. But, you wanted opinoins & if it were me I'd keep the
R!!! You can always make ends mete some where down the line
to move out. But if your living in peace with your folks ,
I'd ride that for a bit longer. KEEP THE RRRRRRRR!!!!!!!!!
Good luck!

I am turning 24 and should be buying my R in 4 months. Plan on living with my parents for another 3 to 4 years down the road. My opinion will be to KEEP THE R!
But just to clarify if you do buy a EG, it CAN be made to handle just as nice as a ITR. With the proper suspension, brake, and sway bars, it will fair nicely against the R.
