Type R Rear Calipers?? Are they the same as the rest??
Hey guys I was just wondering if the TYpe R rear calipers are the same as any other rear caliper ie. GS,RS,LS,GSR,Sir?? And if they aren't how can I distinguish between the rest of them..
Another thing is.. I bought 5-lug setup and on the knuckles the balljoint looks to be welded on the knuckle.. why is this?? is this going to cause any problems??
Thanks guys,

Well... the Type R rear rotors are 10.2 vs 9.4 of regular integras... so what I'm getting at is upgrading rotors without upgrading calipers is useless so I'm saying they are different..... my answer is from deduction, not fact.
Well I already have the trailing arm and everything, and it is a 5-bolt trailing arm, I can tell b/c the rotor is on and all.. but it came, with the caliper not attached to the trailing arm and I am wondering if there is anyway to tell if I have a type r rear caliper..
I heard second hand that the ITR rear calipers are the same as the GSR/LS rear calipers. Only difference is the larger caliper bracket for the 10.25" rotor.

I think the 97 rear ITR caliper differs from all the other ITR years...
because when I installed SS lines on my car (97) they ran in a different location vs. the '00 on AoiZip's ITR....
