does anyone know how do i find out wat is wrong with my fuel system?? like wat major component or wat can cause this problem??? any help would be greatful.. thank all!!!

You didnt say what year/model youre dealing with.

Hard to help when you just throw youre hands up and give vague information.

 

1. Check front O2 sensor. Those things are a PITA.
2. Check fuel pressure regulator.
3. Read plugs- look for unburnt fuel.

How does car run? Any symptoms of fuel starvation or over rich mixture?

 

make sure your fuel cap to your gas tank is on good.

 

Has your car ever just stalled out or anything? Have you ever changed your fuel filters? If your fuel filter(s) are clogged it could cause you to go lean.
Code 43 is a defective or malfunctioning fuel supply.

 

thanks.. my car did stall before.. change fuel pump change new main relay.. maybe colged fuel filter shall try to change that to see if it happeneds again.. but i dont see a sensor at the fuel filter so that still doensnt make any sense in why my ecu is throwing that code.. wat could be the other cause of it??? i have a 91 accord se 4 door.. but does it really matter wat car i have??? i mean we are in the accord form right.. and code 43 is only for accords 90-97.. unless i am wrong.. so correct me if im wrong.. anyway thanks for all ure help.. i hope somebody has some more ideas.. thanks..
ps: there is no problem with it.. maybe a lil rich.. when stomp the gas some smoke comes out.. only when on the street driving.. has problem trying to start.. has to take 2 key stroke to start..thanks again

If the fuel filter is clogged enough it could cause the car to start harder. Also it could cause you to go lean under WOT which may have triggered the CEL code. Change the fuel filter and see if that fixes it. Is this a new CEL code? Did you reset the ECU after your car stalled and you changed the fuel pump and main relay?

 

yes.. everything was reset and tuned proper after the fuel pump n relay.. i also change my gas cap today.. i pump gas this morning and i notice that there is no preassure inside.. i change it and there is still no sound of preassure inside.. i guess there is a vaccum leak somewhere.. i have to find it.. but i dun have time.. and now my ps pump just quit on me .. leaking everywhere.. but i cant find the source.. all i see is fluid out.. but i have no idea where it is... i check the pump but no signs of fluid leak.. but the resovor is wet.. i have a bad day.. anyway.. thanks for all ure help and a happy new year to all.. thanks again..

ttt. im having this same problem. throwing a code 43 except mine is:

-hard to start...takes a second or two
-a/f gauge reads lean/stoich............NEVER rich anymore
-idles when the cars not moving like at 300-400rpm it bogs and sounds like its gonna shut off

i took out the injectors yesterday and cleaned em out. i put fuel injector cleaner as well. today i might try the fuel filter. i did a search and many have replaced the Oxygen Sensor. is this feasible right now or should i save it for last.

 

Have you checked your fuel presure? Is it within spec?

 

no i havent. i picked up a fuel filter and brand new fuel pump for free so im gonna put those in and see if i still get it
