I'm about to do a compression test in a few minutes. I need to know what the compression # should be? This is for a 93 accord.

 

umm, i hope to god you meant 175 and not 75. compression for all non-vtec f22 motors should be as follows(f22 vtec motors will be similar)

nominal--- 178psi
minimum--135psi
maximum variation--28psi

 

ok guys heres the deal. My car is 93 accord 10th edtion.
it has a JDM f22 EX no-vtec.
the head was swaped for my old LX head because i bent a valve, so i just swap out my extra head.

now it is a JDM f22: EX block and LX head with EX intake manifold.
MY numbers were 195, 190,190,190 the engine temp was warm when i did the.
**i'm rather very happy right now of the out come.


............any thoughts????............

 

yeah thats a good outcome. if the engine were cold, it would be a bit lower.
