Default Valve Cover Gasket install

is it difficult to do this?
I just got a new motor put in and my stupid mechanic didn't do it
It is the 4 screws and the spark plugs right
then it comes up the valve cover?

even if you get a honda gasket you still are told to use honda gasket sealer to put it where the sharp corners are on the head...its standard protocol and it beats doing it right the second time around

Then why do the guys at my work do it??? Because they may leak if you don't.... No matter who makes the gasket....

yes, take the 4 screws out and the four plugs and grip it firmly and pop it off. Make sure you clean off the cyl. head properly where the gasket was. Don't scrape it with chisel or whatever
