Default b18c with a t60-1

hey im going turbo in this car, i got a 94 dx and im getting a b18c in a while, just wondering
if a t60-1 turbo is too big, yes i know i have to build the motor and such, and yes there will
be alot of lag but its going to be a drag car soon enough so it dosent have to be streetable
,much!

What manifold are you using? Did you have to shave your block?

It's got a little bit more lag than my old T3/T04b, but it pulls hard all the way to redline, and i'm using it on a stock B18b. I'm using the same ITS 60-1.

They are T-bolt clamps, not worm gear clamps. Way stronger.

Hope this isn't street driven, or your gonna have to replace that turbo soon...

mesh screens + street = early death

I think the streets are clean in miami or something, cus i know tons of people who have run big turbo's with no filters, and sometimes not even a screen in front, and they've never had turbo problems..and these are 3 and 4 year finished setups..

The filters more to keep crap out of the motor...not really to help the turbo. Nothing big enough to do damage to the blades is gonna get through that screen.

i was curious why people dont always use filters and use the screens. wouldnt it be just like running a screen on a cai?

It might be hard to tell from that pic, but there's no room for a filter. This is why you see so many screens...

good point. i guess that slipped my mind. what kind of gains are seen from screen to filter? and what is a good place to get that kind of screen, because when i checked home depot, all they had were huge sheets of window screen.

I have a B20 85mm bore with a Innovative T4/60-1 and I daily drive it. However now I am selling my 60-1 because I want to go bigger on the street. I am getting an S06 and am downgrading to a 81.5mm bore.
