With the Hack, it doesn't matter what Low/High throttle you set 1/2% or 98/99%, the maps are the same on both sides. I have mine at 98/99%- running fine to 11psi-NO CEL's

If your using the AFC to run bigger injectors, you are doing the hack... That IS the hack. It just so happens the hack also allows you to run boost. About %'s to set throttle position, it doesn't matter. I heard that the honda ECU switches from closed to open loop @ 70% so i put mine @ 70/71% so i could tune differently for open loop if I wanted to. Works fine, but I played with a whole lot of settings and it didn't matter which I chose. Hope this helps

I set it up with nothing special done to the VAFC just install it the way it suppose too. Set everything down to -40% and had throttle position at 98%-99%. No missing link. It works great with A/F at 12:1

No, that defeats the whole purpose. The Missing Link prevents your MAP/ECU from reading the boost- with the larger injectors combined with the decreased voltage via your -40% AFC setting, allows the ECU to control the Fuel upto 11psi.

HOWEVER, since you are only using 390's not sure if the voltage will be decreased enough for you to do it. Try it and see- it may allow you 6psi w/o a CEL.

Those 390's might be too BIG to run the Missing Link and too SMALL to run without it...
