Correct Foot Pounds? Help me out?
How many foot lbs of torque do the 20 bolts on the cam caps take, This is for a b17 engine out of a 92 integra. There are 10 bolts on each runner( each runner goes about each cam) I am unsure what to call these, but can someone please tell me how tight to tourque these down. I dont want them coming loose on me. Thanks
I'm sure the spec's i gave you are for a 92 GSR 1.7L,I looked it up using Snap-on Shop Key software.....I dont know where he's getting his spec's from.

Okay anywhere from 7-10 is good for the 6mm bolts and 18-20 on the 8mm's.. It's not totally crucial that you have them absolutely on (just have them within that range)... Every DOHC VTEC motor I work on gets its 6mm bolts torqued to 9ft/lbs and the 8mm's to 19ft/lbs.. It's worked fine for all the motors that i've ever put together.. You really don't even need to torque the outer 6mm bolts but i always do... Latez

Right out of the helms manuel. 8mm bolts are 16 lb-ft, 6mm bolts are 8 lb-ft. Also dont forget the order in which you tighten them. Search for the helms manuel I think someone posted the whole thing for the 90-93 teg.
